WJ Through the Decades: A Look Back at Campus Transformations

As students at Walter Johnson, we might think of our high school experience at WJ to be identical across time. 70 years ago today, the building would be completely unrecognizable. Let’s take a closer look at how our school has grown over the years.

Walter Johnson has changed in countless ways since the doors first opened in 1956. As the county’s population expanded, so did the school grounds. Here is every notable construction project WJ has undergone since it was first founded 70 years ago.
