Bethesda vandalized with hate speech and white supremacy

Georgetown Square was also vandalized, a white ‘pride’ spray painting over the wall where the Quartermaine Cafe was previously located.

A second spray painting was spray painted outside the Walter Johnson gymnasium. The WJ staff were quick to remove every vandalization on the building.

Spray paintings of white pride were also on display on the 495 overpass. Many students and staff members of the WJ community are concerned about these acts of vandalism.

A walkway over highway 495 was vandalized as multiple messages of white nationalism. The people who spray painted the bridge are proclaiming themselves as ‘patriots’.

On Oct. 3, Walter Johnson was vandalized. One of the spray paintings was an anti – LGBTQ painting. This has caused an outroar in WJ’s LGBTQ community.
