Senior Ana Gomerez had a historic indoor track season for a WJ jumper. Gomerez was the county’s top triple jumper and came in seventh in the long run. In addition to being a great jumper, Gomerez was a valuable asset as a runner. She ran the four by two hundred relay at the county meets and also was a very good 55-meter runner. Gomerez is on the outdoor track team this year and she hopes to defend her county title in the triple jump.
According to Gomerez, her goals include qualifying for states in the long and triple jump.
Gomerez is most likely running and jumping for Towson next year but has not committed yet.
