North Bethesda and Tilden face off in a middle school basketball game, but soon these competitors will join forces at WJ. The merging of both these middle schools brings many competitive athletes together.
Senior captain Ginger Fishberg dodges by Blair's defender for a shot on goal. Fishberg scored two of the Cat's opening goals for the season and led them to their first win.
"I know that I have to tell myself that no one wants it more than I do, I have to wrestle the best I ever have," Junior Sonia Pegoue said.

Runners start warmup laps for winter track tryouts after school. Tryouts are held every year in November with the season closing in late March. Runners wear jogging pants and sweatshirts to protect from the cold and the wind.
