Melissa Wainaina is a senior this year and it is her first year writing The Pitch. She has always had a passion for journalism and hopes to pursue it in the future. When Melissa is not working hard in school, she puts all her energy in WJ show choir Pop Fly. Melissa is also involved in the Minority Scholars Leadership program here at WJ and various extracurricular activities at WJ. When Melissa is not involved in school she is either hanging out with friends or family.
