Despite a disappointing end, the boys lacrosse team took huge steps this year and changed the direction in which the program is going. Led by senior captains Graham Rogers and J.P. Rakis, who combined for 65 goals and 51 assists in the regular season as WJ finished with a 9-3 record. Multiple seniors who had been on varsity since their freshman year agreed that this was the best team in a while. Although the team has very few juniors, they are stacked with stud sophomores. Many who started regularly, including Dylan Minnick, Brandon Moon, Jonah Levy, J.R Dubose and Noah Diamond who recorded 30 goals and 17 assists this year.
“Although we didn’t get the result we were looking for as we had goals to make it deep into the playoffs, I really enjoyed the season and couldn’t ask for a better team,” senior Will Dash said.
