The WJ golf team had its second match yesterday against Churchill, Whitman and Sherwood. At Worthington Manor Golf Course in Frederick, Md., the team failed to beat its opponents for the second week in a row, coming in third place.

Senior Max Silverman believes that the team can definitely rebound in future matches after yesterday’s tough loss.

“The team didn’t play to the best of our ability.” said Silverman. “But, we have potential with a great freshman and solid juniors.”

The team’s next match is Thurs., Sept. 10 at Hampshire Greens Golf Course against Wootton, B-CC and rival Churchill.
