A 12-2 regular season record and a Red Division title earned the girls volleyball team the second seed and a first round bye in the Montgomery 4A West Region. In their second round matchup, the team beat Northwest in three sets and will face Gaithersburg Nov. 10 (This game took place too late to cover). The team beat Gaithersburg in a five set match earlier this season.
Standout player: Stephanie Paul
Volleyball is led by sophomore Setter/ Outside Hitter Stephanie Paul. Paul is second on the team in digs (90) and kills (72). Paul looks to lead the team to victory Wednesday vs. Gaithersburg.
