Despite the day’s two hour delay having shortened lunch, sophomore and president Sabrina Vasu said that she was happy with the turnout. “That made it more difficult for us to get a lot of people, but I was super happy that it worked out,” Vasu said.

Students eat lunch and write answers to trivia questions on whiteboards. The event was the Disease Awareness and Prevention club’s first fundraiser, but was well attended. Sophomore and president Sabrina Vasu said that the club plans to organize “more awareness and fundraising events in the future.”

An officer opens an envelope to store a donation. The fundraiser raised money for the American Heart Association, and the club ended up donating approximately $50.
