Senior Megan Raue runs through the mud and drives to the last mile of the race. Raue placed 3rd with a time of 19:58.80. “The mud throughout the course made it difficult but I just focused on my steps and made it through,” Raue said.

Freshman Sienna Neuman, juniors Audrey Blake and Annie Linkie, along with senior Elizabeth Finn pace together staying in a group. Linkie finished 46th out of 146 with a time of 23:17.30.

The girls’ JV cross country sets as they wait for the gun in the Skip Grant Invitational. Senior Anna Kotek is focused and ready for the competition. Kotek finished in 1st and her teammates finished not far behind her. “Everyone always feels really nervous at the starting line. I knew as long as I stuck together with my teammates I’d be fine,” Kotek said.

Seniors Josh Hananel and Gabe Dirker start the race at a fast pace. Boys JV came in 7th place out of 19 teams.
