People queue up at the ice cream truck during halftime. The ice cream truck has now become a tradition for home football games gathering parents, students and staff whether it’s mid-game or halftime.

The school store sets up in front of the tennis court providing a wide variety of school merch. The store provides parents and students the opportunity to represent WJ through clothing.

The Education Foundation sets up at the main entrance before the game. They give the opportunity to any WJ alumni to have their name called during the game. The foundation ensures that current and future students have continuing opportunities for academic rigor and social and emotional growth in a facility that complements excellent academic programs.

The step team gets ready to put on a performance during halftime at the varsity game. “It was nerve-wracking especially since it was my first time performing with this team, we have a lot to improve on but it was an experience I’ll never forget,” freshman Meher Parsinni said.

Wildcats come out in full support and pack the home bleachers to cheer on the varsity team. The Wildcats defeated Wootton with a thrilling 37-3 score.

Wrestling team’s parents volunteered to help run the concessions. Parents took over the grill for both JV and varsity games.

WJ Bake with Kindness club looks forward to raising money for the Syrian refugee crisis by selling homemade brownies, cupcakes, Rice Krispies and more.
