Pong for Pennies for Patients (PPP) returns to WJ on Feb. 23. The PPP event will take place in the cafeteria after school from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. It is $20 per team or $10 a person and tickets will be sold at lunch.
Contestants in PPP need to bounce a ball into six different cups filled with water. The first team to eliminate all six cups wins the game. In order to make a legal shot, contestants must keep their elbow behind the table. Teams may rearrange the cups as they like. There will be a crowned champion at the end of the bracket.
At the end of the night, there will be a costume contest, so students are encouraged to dress up in their best costume or with a team or best friend.
Everyone has great fun at the event, so if you like hanging out with your friends, dressing up in funny costumes and being competitive in a fun game, then PPP is the event for you.
