Romance: “Daydream: A Novel” - Hannah Grace
The third book in the Maple Hill series is set to drop on June 4. The novel follows procrastinator and Ice Hockey captain Henry Turner as he navigates a difficult class taught by his least favorite professor. He is paired up with a tutor with one rule: not to fall in love. This is a great book for fans of “Icebreaker” and “Wildfire.”

Mystery/Thriller: “Hearts That Cut” - Kika Hatzopoulou
Expected on June 18, “Hearts That Cut” is a sequel to the novel “Threads That Bind.” The novel surrounds Io, a private investigator, investigating the strange string of sibling disappearances in Alante: the city in which the descendants of the Greek gods live among mortals. “Hearts That Cut” is a good pick for someone who enjoys mythology and mystery books.
Fantasy/Sci-Fi: “The Daughter’s War” - Christopher Buehlman
Sequel to “The Blacktongue Thief,” “The Daughter’s War” is dropping June 25. It follows the protagonist from the first novel, Galva and is set in a goblin-infested world. If you’re looking for a dystopian fantasy novel, “The Daughter’s War” is the book for you.
Comics: “Dune: House Harkonnen Vol. 3” - Brian Herbert, Frank Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson
“Dune: House Harkonnen Vol. 3,” the third comic in the “Dune” series, following one of the most anticipated movies of the year, is dropping on June 25. It is a prequel to conclude the Dune trilogy, following a young Leto, Paul’s father, who dies in the beginning of “Dune.” If you are a sci-fi fan, already invested in the trilogy, this would be a perfect and only way to finish it off.
