Spring is here! The weather is getting warmer, the sun is setting late- time to enjoy the fresh air, right? Wrong! TV is there for you all year long and you owe it to yourself to check out these side-splitting comedies:

Community (Hulu Plus, Yahoo)

Community (especially the first two seasons) is one of the funniest shows you will find to binge-watch. The hilarious dynamic between ex-lawyer Jeff, wannabe activist Britta, mother of three Shirley, less than intelligent individual Abed, politically incorrect old man Pierce and down-right strange TV aficionado Abed, will keep you laughing for weeks. The show centers around this group as they make their way through a pitiful community college. The show’s cast contains some big names including Donald Glover, Chevy Chase, John Oliver and Ken Jeong. The first five seasons are streaming on Hulu Plus, with the sixth being released week by week on Yahoo streaming.

Blue Mountain State (Netflix)

This just might be the greatest show ever made.  With only three seasons, the show ended way before its time. The show follows college freshmen Alex and Sammy as they struggle through the hazing of a school with D1 football. Alex (Darin Brooks) is determined to remain back-up quarterback to avoid having to do any actual work, while his less-than athletic side-kick Sammy (Romanski) is always looking for a larger role on the team, ultimately becoming the school mascot. The show features all of the craziness and partying you would expect from a Spike TV show, and the show’s characters will quickly become some of your favorites on TV. Luckily, a full length Blue Mountain State movie will be released this fall.

How I Met Your Mother (Netflix)

This show is the longest running program on the list, with a whopping nine seasons. The show follows main protagonist Ted (Josh Radnor) as he progresses through life in New York City in search of a soul mate. Over the course of the show, Ted and his friends create some of the most memorable moments on TV (Slapbet anyone?) The show is consistently funny and will always keep you on your toes.  Like a modern day “Friends”, this comedy doesn’t shy away from drama don’t be shocked if you tear up during a couple of episodes. Also, Barney Stinson (Neil Patrick Harris) is one of the greatest characters of all time.

The League (Netflix, Hulu)

The League centers around a group of friends as they compete in a hilariously over-competitive fantasy football league. This show is full of trash-talk, pranks and long running jokes which will stick around throughout the series. While many of the football references might now be dated, as the show debuted over five years ago,  itdoesn’t hold back the show from being one of the funniest you can find. Don’t be surprised if this show makes you suddenly taking your fantasy football league a lot more seriously.
