Students gather around the flagpoles in prayer for National Prayer Day. The event was organised by WJ’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes, one of many religion based clubs at WJ. Junior Tasnim Hussien, the secretary of Muslim Student Association, is hoping to build community amongst people in her religion. “I wanted to bring us together, to create friendships and meet people who understand your thinking and struggles,” Hussien said.

Maram Faragalah is a senior at WJ. She loves writing and reading books. She is extremely excited for her first year on the pitch. During her free time she reads, watches netflix and eating. Her birthday is september 9th so she spent the first week of senior year as a 16 year old.
